Step 1

Measuring Openings and Planning

After our quote for Installing or Replacing windows and doors are approved and within a week or so before install day we will send someone out to check the openings to ensure that when our crew arrives the problems are already taken care of ahead of time to eliminate wasted trips.

After that step is completed we proceed with buying all materials required to complete the job. We use  a company created program to tell us exactly how long the job should take, how much of each material will be needed along with other data required per job based.

Stretch Tape (Rolls – 1 per case) TAPE (Rolls – 12 per case) SHIMS (Pack – 36 bundles per case) FASTENERS SEALANT (Per Tube) PAN (Feet – 75 foot rolls)

Step 2

Install Day

We schedule a date to meet with the window and door company to arrange delivery of the product and to prep the house with either Scaffolding, Pump Jacks, Window or Door pans and Taping any openings required. After this we follow in depth the window and door manufacturers installation instruction to ensure each window and door is install exactly as they recommend. We make sure every window and door is level, plumb and as square as the opening will allow.

Throughout the day we do not play any loud music so there is no distractions with what we are doing and that everyone is able to hear the person next to them at all times. At the end of each day we clean our mess and prep for the following day.

Step 3

Completed Install

After we finish with our install we prefer to walk through the house with the customer and make sure there are no other issues before another trade comes in. This lets our customers understand that everything was working the way it was intended to work once we walked off of the job site. During my years of Service work I have always heard complaints of how bad the windows are etc. but it really comes down to the quality of the install and that the windows are not just thrown into the opening. The windows are designed to operate properly and that includes a proper install.
